What does ONEWAY need from donors?

Our greatest need is not for ONEWAY itself, but for our service trips.  All donations designated for our service trips are used for materials and personnel for service projects in areas of need.  To get the greatest mileage out of your contribution, you might want to consider helping support one of these service trips or one of the volunteer participants.  Helping some one fund his or her trip to provide service is a great way to get involved if you cannot go yourself.

How are donations used?

That is entirely up to you!  Before finalizing your donation you will see that you will have the opportunity to tell us how you would like us to allocate your contribution.  Simply write the name of a service project or volunteer you would like to support.  If this field is left blank we will designate the donation to the area of greatest need.  One Week A Year is entirely funded by private support.  That being said, successful service trips are our greatest financial priority so please consider supporting a volunteer or project.

Are donations tax deductible?

ONEWAY is a new nonprofit registered in the state of Florida and is currently awaiting confirmation of 501(c)3 tax exempt status from the IRS.  The applications often take more than six months before being finalized.   As a result. tax deductible status is pending and donations made now can be declared on your tax statement, but only after we receive confirmation from the IRS.

The Greatest Donation

Remember that you are the greatest donation.  Your time, your expertise and your presence are the contributions we value most.  Please consider joining one of our service trips.  You can find more information about our upcoming service projects by clicking the link on the right side of the page.
